This is Me short film doesn’t tell the story from the start nor does it show the ending. It’s about the journey, not the destination. A short story to honor all of us as mental health warriors, especially during this difficult time that affects and challenges everyone’s mental health. We might be in different boat, but we are all in the same storm with mental health and needs to be cared for, in similar ways that we care for our physical well-being. It is always OK to not be OK. There is nothing less spiritual, less strong and there is no shame in the bravery of being vulnerable, seeking help and to just be human. With empathy, grace and compassion to yourself and others, there is always hope.

This Is Me is a short fiction film that has been shown in several festivals in 2019. Unfortunately 2020 has cancelled many amazing film festivals including the recent 53rd WorldFest-Houston International Film & Video Festival, that has selected this film and won bronze Remi award for short dramatic original category.
